Animal Item Slots Although it's easy to imagine an animal benefiting from magic equipment beyond a simple saddle and a suit of barding, fitting a mount's physiology to the list of item slots available to characters is not an easy task. Try the following variant list of item slots for quadruped animals (and other monsters when appropriate). I don't know about magic item slots for PFS specifically, but there are official rules for what magic item slots an animal companion generally has. Yeah, I'm aware of those mentioned in Animal Archive. I'm more curious to know what restrictions, if any PFS applies to animal companion gear. Spare Hand (MIC p. Requires an Artificer infusion to get the most out of this item, but allows your animal companion to wield a light weapon or light shield. Arms of the Naga (Savage Species p. Way more expensive than the Spare Hand, and difficult to use in combat. Hands of Man (Savage Species p. Add and subtract gold, equipment and magic items - Track magic items in their item slots - Create a spellbook for your spellcaster - Add a familiar or animal companion - Built in Dice Roller Take your RPG to the next level and enjoy Players Companion and may your heros live forever. Note: Pathfinder data is still being worked on.
Free gold bar 7s slot machine. An old series of WotC articles that brought us the Wild Cohort also gave us animal magic item slots. Scroll to the bottom, read and be enlightened. Savage Species and the Draconomicon also cover it somewhat, but you'll have to adapt the slots to your animal with your DM's assistance on what's fair game.
My question is: what exactly can they use? I'd like to get them some form of light weight armor/barding that won't slow them down too much (leather most likely - especially for the druid's wolf). My co-DM has mentioned magic collars, but do wolves (or other quadrapeds for that matter) have any other 'magic item slots'?
Thanks.
